Who We Are

Rook Custom Vinyl is an MA-based custom vinyl store out of our auto shop, dedicated to offering vinyl designs as clean as the vehicle they’re being placed on. From small vinyl decals to full size graphics, we specialize in delivering modern and durable visuals that make a lasting impression.

Our Story

My name is Frank Rook, and I'm the founder of Rook Custom Vinyl.  I've worked with vinyl for three years now and have learned the ins-and-outs of designing, producing, and applying high quality vinyl pieces.  Before I knew how to use design tools and manipulate images to look as I envisioned them to, I struggled to get a half-decent logo, or a somewhat professional branded header for my website.  It was so difficult to find a designer that actually brought my ideas to life as I had wanted them, so I started to do it myself.

I actually started working with vinyl in the car community initially - making vinyl decals and banners for cars to sport on their windows and windshields. Over time from selling decals both in-person and online via TikTok and my website, I gathered much experience working with vinyl from creating a design to bringing it to life, then applying it onto a vehicle.  While I loved it and  all of the interactions I had with people within the car community, I wanted more from my business, which is why this business evolved into Rook Auto Customs, while we kept it separate.
